Club Statement 18/9/20
We have recieved notification that a club member who was in attendance at the 3rd XI match on Sunday (v Heywood) has tested positive for coronavirus. Those present at the ground on the day have been contacted separately to give them as much detail as is necessary. As a result the club will be closed and all cricket activity will cease for 7 days as per league protocols. We wish the very best to the person involved in their recovery.
The committee has now also, given the worryingly increasing rates of COVID-19 in the region, come to a decision to end the season at this point. We would like to thank all of our members for their support throughout the 2020 season, which has seen us compete with 4 senior teams and 3 junior teams.
