We are back! 2023 season begins this Saturday

The time has come for the start of the 2023 season, with all three of our senior sides, as well as our junior sides, having their first GMCL fixtures of the year this weekend.

As our members will know, ground preparation has been tough due to the poor weather conditions over the past 6 weeks or so, however should the weather hold in the 24 hours leading upto Saturday lunchtime, we will have our first cricket of the season at Radcliffe Road with the 2nd XI in action with a local derby to start the season against Unsworth 1st XI.

The 1st XI hit the road with a trip to Mottram - a first GMCL meeting between the two clubs, as we begin life in the GMCL Championship. Both 1st and 2nd XI games are due to get underway at 12:30pm.

On Sunday, the 3rd XI have a home fixture against Elton in the afternoon at 2pm, whilst the reverse fixture is due to take place at the Under 13 age group in the morning, and the U11 softball side are due to take on Saddleworth at home at the same time.
