Bury Cricket Club
On the weekend of 23rd-24th November, Bury Cricket Club welcomed a team of 14 volunteers from the Lancashire Women set up as part of a Sport England and VIY (VolunteerItYourself) Project in which over 30 metres of new fence was built around the boundary and 100 metres of existing fencing was renovated.
Other smaller tasks involved tidying the planters in front of the pavillion and strimming the grass.
Bury Cricket Club would like to express its huge thank you to all involved including VIY, Wickes and Jen Barden and all of her girls who gave up their weekend to carry out this work and complete the project.
