GMCL action returns this weekend as the 2022 league season gets underway.
The 1st XI begin their Premier 2 campaign, after narrowly missing out on promotion last season, away to Shaw, who were promoted from the Championship last time out. Our boys go into the season on the back of two pre-season victories, against Rawtenstall and Barnoldswick.
The 2nd XI begin life in Division 3W, after their title winning campaign last year, at home to Bolton Indians 1st XI. Both the 1st and 2nd XI games begin at 12:30pm.
On Sunday, the 3rd XI get their season underway at Radcliffe Road - Monton are the visitors for a 2pm start.
The junior season also gets underway this weekend, with the U13s in action at home on Sunday morning against Elton, before the U15s host Stand on Monday.
