Former International Cricketer Adnan Mutfi new Head Junior Coach

Bury Cricket Club is delighted to announce that former UAE international cricketer Adnan Mutfi has agreed to become Head Junior Coach for the 2022 season.

As a player, Adnan played 18 ODIs and 1 T20 International, as well as 100 First Class & List A games. Nowadays, Adnan is a batting coach for Gloucestershire U19s. He also coaches in the local area and is very well respected due to his high standing in the game.

The club moved quickly to secure Adnan as our Head Coach following the vacancy opening up so close to the season's start. Club Chairman Gary Garner said "We are very fortunate to acquire Adnan's services as Head Junior Coach. He will bring the direction and structure we need."

"As chairman I am delighted he has decided to join us and hope this is the start of a long relationship between Adnan and Bury Cricket Club."

Junior Winter Nets take place on a Tuesday evening at Derby High School. 6-7pm for soft ball, beginners, All Stars and Dynamos. 7-8pm for hard ball, U11s, U13s & U15s. Players of any ability are more than welcome!
