The U13s continued their strong recent form with a win over neighbours Walshaw on Sunday. Adam Smith & James McCormack both retired and Hasan Ali Ahmed (17) & Aadam Gorsi (21) both contributed significantly with the bat as Bury piled on 153-5. In reply, Walshaw managed 109-8, with Hasan Ali Ahmed the pick of the bowlers with his 3/7. Aadam Gorsi also took 2 wickets in his 2 overs.
On Monday, the U15s took on Edenfield in a competitive encounter. James McCormack took 2/11 in 4 overs as Edenfield scored 135-5. Daniyal Tariq retired on 40 and a quick 24 from 18 balls from Muhammad Raza brought the scores closer, however Edenfield eventually held out for a 11 run victory.
The U11s suffered a rare defeat to Edgworth on Wednesday. Batting first, there were 81 runs off the bat or extras for Bury, but the 9 wickets for Edgworth brought the net score down to 227. In the second innings, wickets were hard to find, with Edgworth finishing on 337.
