The U15s recorded their first win of the season on Monday night with a 22 run victory over Egerton. Batting first, Bury lost just one wicket, finishing their overs on 124-1 with Sabat Ali Ahmed and Daniyal Tariq scoring a majority of the runs. Egerton started strongly but ultimately it was the wickets that Bury took that proved crucial, taking 8, and Egerton fell short on 102-8.
On Sunday, there was also a win for the U13s, a 36 run victory over Friends Sporting Club. Hasan Ali Ahmed and Adam Smith both retired with the bat in Bury's 116-3, before Chris Jones was the pick of the bowlers with 2-6 - the visitors finishing on 80-6.
