Get Set Weekend & News Update

We are just four weeks away from the first cricketing action of 2023, and here are some important news items.

Get Set Weekend

The ECB have launched 'Get Set Weekend' on the 1st & 2nd April where volunteers from clubs around the country will come together to get their grounds prepared for the 2023 season. Our day of action will be on Sunday 2nd April - we ask all club members to spare whatever time you have during the day. Providing we manage to complete all the jobs on that day, our outdoor facilities should be available to use from that week onwards.

Captaincy Update

The committee are pleased to confirm that Joe Mitchell will be continuing as 3rd team captain for 2023.

Player Registration

Player registration is now open for the 2023 season. Every player - both senior and junior - must complete this registration in order to be eligible to play any league games for Bury CC. Please see our guide on how to complete the registration here.

Subs Payments

For those paying in instalments, the second instalment of the 2023 subscriptions are now due. For seniors, this will be £50, and £25 for juniors. A reminder that senior players should have paid all three instalments of their subscription fee before the start of the season, unless they have agreed an alternative payment plan.
