Decisive Final Day for the 1st XI

It’s crunch time for the 1st XI on Saturday as what promises to be a dramatic decisive final day of the Premier 2 season.
Following wins last week for us, Greenfield and Glodwick, all three teams currently in the relegation zone have a realistic chance of staying up. Flixton currently sit in 9th, ahead of Bury only on net run rate, on 38 points. Greenfield & Glodwick sit just 3 points behind on 35 each. It will be a trip to Glodwick for our 1st XI and the required task will be to better Flixton’s result – they take on Shaw who need points to secure promotion. Updates throughout the day will be provided on our twitter page @burycc – games get underway at 12pm.
The 2nd XI will be in home action – the final game at Radcliffe Road in 2022 – against Hindley St Peters 1st XI. And on Sunday, we will be back at Glodwick as our 3rd XI look to end their season with a victory (1pm start).

End of Season Social
Following Saturday’s games, we will be having an end of season social back at the club. Food will be ordered in. We hope all involved throughout the season will attend.
