Bury Cricket Club
We have a very busy Bank Holiday weekend of cricketing action at Radcliffe Road, with 6 games in 5 days, with all of our senior sides in home action, as well as our U11s.
On each day, the kiosk will be open, selling soft & alcoholic drinks, snacks and ice creams.
The action begins on Thursday, when the Bury Storm (2nd XI T20) take on the Prestwich Patriots.
The T20 action continues on Friday, as the Bury Bullsharks face the Heywood Monkeys. Both sides are yet to drop points in the competition, so this could have a important bearing on the final standings in a month's time.
On Saturday, the 2nd XI take on local rivals Walshaw from 12:30pm, whilst the 1st XI are in action away to Championship leaders Royton.
On Sunday morning the U11s softball side take on Worsley at home, before in the afternoon the 1st XI complete the third leg of their triple-header, welcoming South West Manchester to Radcliffe Road in the 1st Round of the 1st XI Championship Cup. Bury will looking for revenge from the same round of the 2016 Derek Kay Cup, when South West caused a cup upset.
Finally, the weekend will be rounded off on Monday with a 3rd XI league game - Woodbank will be the visitors, with the game starting at the earlier time of 12pm.
Both the U13s and U15s are also in action over the Bank Holiday weekend - the U13s go to Woodbank on Sunday morning, before the U15s go to Elton on Monday evening.
