2024 Saturday Fixtures Released

The GMCL have now released the Saturday fixtures for the 2024 season - meaning both our 1st and 2nd XIs have their full league fixture lists.

Our 1st XI have a tough start to the season, with both their two opening fixtures against sides who were playing in Prem 2 last season. We will begin the season at home to Heywood on 20th April, before a trip to Gin Pit to take on Astley & Tyldesley the week after. We will also end the season at home, Mottram will be the last visitors of the season on 14th September.

The 2nd XI remain in Division 4N for 2024, however the division has a new-look after a few teams have been moved around in the three regional divisions at this tier. The 2nd XIs of Shaw, Moorside, Brooksbottom and Milnrow, as well as the 1st XI of Springhead, all come into the division.  Despite that, we start the season away to familiar opponents, Walshaw. The 2nd XI will end the season away to Moorside, a week after welcoming Woodbank to Radcliffe Road.

Fixtures for the 1st and 2nd XI have now been added to the club calendar, and also to Team App.

3rd XI fixtures are being finalised and will be released soon.
