2023 Senior Fixtures Released

5 Feb 2023

The league fixtures for all of our senior sides have now been confirmed for the 2023 season.

The 1st XI begin their first season in the Championship away at Mottram on Saturday 22nd April. The season ends with a trip to Greenfield on Saturday 16th September. The Championship division provides a mix of local trips (Edenfield), new grounds (Mottram, Hadfield St Andrews & Saddleworth) renewing older rivalries (Winton & Stretford) and continuing more recent ones (Glodwick, Greenfield, Royton, Woodhouses & Dukinfield).

The 2nd XI will play in Division 4N (a change of Divisional level to last year due to a linear reallignment of the Divisional structure at Division 2), in a much more regionalised division compared to last year. The season begins with a home game against Unsworth 1st XI, and ends with another home game, against Thornham 2nd XI. The other teams in the division are East Lancs Paper Mill 1st XI, new team Rochdalians 1st XI and the 2nd XIs of local sides Elton, Woodbank, Walshaw, Heywood, Stand and Edgworth.

We will soon learn the opponents for each our sides in the cup competitions. The provisional cup dates are on our club calendar, however note these are subject to change as we await confirmation as to which cup competitions our teams will be playing in. We have also entered both our 1st and 2nd XIs into the T20 competitions in 2023 - these fixtures are usually released a little later than the league & cup fixtures.

All of our fixtures and cup dates can be viewed via the club calendar page, and via Team App (all members are now encouraged to reinstall the app for the 2023 season). You can sync the fixtures to your personal calendar on your mobile or tablet device by clicking the '+ Google Calendar' button in the bottom right.
