2021 Senior Fixtures Released

The GMCL has now released all senior fixtures and cup dates for the 2021 season, with the hope of a full season being played. 

The 1st XI begin the season at home to Edgworth, as was originally planned for the 2020 season, in Premier Division 2 which promises to be very competitive, whilst the 2nd XI play away at Daisy Hill on the same date, Saturday 17th April. Stand-out fixtures for the 1st XI include a trip to Glossop on 22nd May, local derbies with Stand (home 5th June, away 21st August) and Walshaw (home 19th June, away 4th September) and a first GMCL meeting with Bradshaw (home 15th May), and end the season at home to Woodhouses on 11th September. 

In Division 2A, the 2nd XI have multiple local games with opponents including Radcliffe, East Lancs Paper Mill, Worsley, Tottington St Johns and Irlam. 

The 3rd XI will compete in the Sunday Premier Division, with opponents including Prestwich, Greenfield, Glodwick, South West Manchester and Westhoughton. They will begin the season against Oldham West on 18th April. 

Our fixtures for the 20-20 competition, and cup draws for each senior team, will be released later this month.

All of our fixtures and cup dates can be viewed via the club calendar page, and fixtures will be added to the Team App calendar in the coming days.

Now is a good time to re-install Team App if you removed it during the off-season, as this will be used on a greater scale during the 2021 season and is updated with latest news weekly. If you have not already set up a Team App account, then contact your team captain for more information. Please encourage friends and family to also download the app as a source of club news.
