Bury Cricket Club is pleased to announce that Ben Gorton has signed as club professional for the 2021 Greater Manchester Cricket League season. Ben has scored 1383 runs for the club since he joined in 2018, including 10 half centuries and a high score of 165*, and has become a well-known face amongst everyone at the club whilst working with the junior section. 

We are also delighted to announce that Mukhtar Nasir will be re-joining the club for the 2021 season. Mukhtar scored over 1000 runs in the GMCL for Bury before he left to spend 2 years with Walshaw in 2019. He will also bolster our bowling attack, having taken 86 wickets in the GMCL era for the club. 

We can also confirm that both Alex Breckin and Ahmed Matloob have committed to their futures at Bury in 2021. Alex won the Division 1B bowling award in 2019 with 42 wickets at an average of only 9.05, whilst Ahmed impressed with the ball this season taking 15 wickets in 4 matches.
